Sami El-Yousef, CEO of the LPJ reports on the visit of their delegation to Gaza to obtain an understanding of the situation and to complete a needs assessment of the parish community following the conflict.

A particular part of this relates to 50 homes of our Christian brothers and sisters which have damage to their apartments with blown out windows, doors and cracks in walls as well as destruction to solar panels cutting off a key source of power for them.

Thanks to your continued generosity Friends of the Holy Land have sent funding of US$40,000 from our emergency reserve to ensure the work on around 32 of these homes can go forward immediately.

This is just one of the first steps in the recuperation of our brothers and sisters after the conflict and hope we can rely on your generosity to help with continued projects and support.
