On Saturday April 23rd 2022 a group of walkers will be setting off on a sponsored walk from 4 different starting points on an Emmaus Walk to raise much-needed funds for Friends of the Holy Land.

The St George’s day sponsored walk is also a bit of a pilgrimage – giving a chance to pray for all those who have been affected by the pandemic whilst also giving material help to fellow Christians who often live in very stressful situations in the lands of Our Lord birth.

Walkers have the choice of four different locations to start from, each varying in length and challenge, but all terminating at Harvington. Here walkers are encouraged to bring a picnic and greet fellow walkers as they arrive. The church of St Mary’s Harvington is the ideal focal point for the walk.  In the grounds of the imposing Tudor Hall it's in a great rural setting, not to mention the ample room for parking for walkers to be collected.

To get more information or to apply for a registration form please contact Deacon John O’Brien who can put you in touch with the walk leader specific to your choice of starting point.
