Bishop of Warwick to open National Gathering

We are extremely proud that the Bishop of Warwick, The Right Reverend John Stroyan, will start the National Gathering with an ecumenical service of thanks giving.
The event, planned for Saturday September 22nd,10.30am – 4pm and hosted by St Francis of Assisi Church, Kenilworth, CV8 1HL - has already seen a high number of registrations. To avoid disappointment we would encourage supporters to book their place quickly. The theme of the day is set as ‘More Christians helping more Christians’, it is free to attend and includes lunch. Travel plans for our headline speaker, Sami El Yousef, are now being finalised and we look forward to hearing him speak about the situation of the 'Living Stones' of the West Bank, Gaza, Israel and jordan.
Sami is a native of the Old City of Jerusalem and belongs to one of the city’s thirteen oldest Christian families.
In his role as Chief Executive for the Latin Patriarchate Sami has seen first-hand the difficulties faced by Christians living in the Holy Land and the work of FHL to help the neediest cases.
