FHL have been helping to launch Christian Micro Businesses in Gaza

Friends of the Holy Land have been working with the Pontifical Mission in the Holy Land, to support a number of young Christians in launching micro businesses in Gaza.

Gaza has one of the highest levels of unemployment which particularly affects the minority Christian population.  This micro business scheme which sees young Christians being mentored and supported by experienced business people to make their businesses a success.

This program has already begun and is supporting 13 new businesses run by Young Christians as they get underway, as well as 3 existing Christian businesses which will benefit from additional support.  As the project continues it is hoped that more young Christians will want to join the scheme as it progresses.
