The Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem has 17 schools in the Holy Land. The Latin Patriarchate has 45 schools. Together they offer education to approximately 28,000 pupils of whom the majority are Christian.
We provide support to schools and encourage “twinning” between schools in the Holy Land and this country.
We support pupils at school and students at Bethlehem University with their fees - particularly to finish their course when the family’s financial situation has changed. Take for example Yousef, a six-year-old Palestinian Christian, sponsored by the Friends of the Holy Land to attend the Latin Patriarchate School in Beit Sahour.
