Life remains extremely fragile and deeply challenging even after the recent ceasefire. Fear, economic hardship and uncertainty continue to shape the daily reality of years of war. In many ways, day to day life remains unchanged.

In the West Bank, travel is often exhausting and humiliating, with long delays at checkpoints and invasive searches. The growing presence of settlers has brought harassment, theft and the destruction of livelihoods, deepening the strain on already vulnerable communities. 

In Israel, Christian communities face discrimination in employment, high taxes and ever-changing restrictions.

It will take years and years for the new reality of everyday life in the Holy Land to become clear. Yet the Christian community face the future with courage and determination.
