Free Will - Leaving a legacy

Your Faith is powerful, so is your Will

You have the power to help us make a lasting change in the lives of the most vulnerable Christians in the Holy Land, to build them and their families a brighter, more sustainable future.

Leaving a legacy to Friends of the Holy Land will make an immediate but lasting difference. With a gift in your Will, you can turn your lifetime of hope into the change you want to see for our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land.

Making a gift in your Will is simple and free through the Free Wills Network. The Network comprises over 900 solicitors around the UK, meaning that on average there is a solicitor within 3 miles of every home. You can request either a simple single Will, or a mirror Will, or you can update your existing Will, created by a qualified local solicitor in your local area. There is no charge to you; Friends of the Holy Land are charged a fee per Will, which we cover as a thank you for considering leaving us a gift.

Your lasting legacy could be to change a life in the Holy Land.

£1,000 could provide the supply and installation of 2 water tanks, ensuring a family has access to clean water storage for 20 years

£10,000 could train a young person for 4 years to become a nurse of midwife, giving them a guaranteed career in their homeland

£25,000 could allow us to provide work for 15 people for 6 months, getting them back into work and an opportunity to earn enough to support their families

If you choose to use this service, you don’t have to leave a gift to Friends of the Holy Land; of course, we would be very grateful if you did.

Your request for an information pack does not commit you to paying any money. If a participating solicitor considers that a simple, free Will is not suitable for your personal circumstances, the solicitor will inform you of this, and then it is your choice whether to agree to the drafting of a Will entirely at your expense or to cancel the process without charge.

The information pack will contain details of between two and six local firms participating in the scheme within two weeks. After this, you can request an appointment with one of the participating solicitors in your area at your convenience if you wish to proceed.

In that meeting you will decide if and how you would like to support the Friends of the Holy Land in your Will (you are under no obligation to do so).

Thank you for considering leaving us a gift so that we can continue our work to secure a resilient and enduring Christian community in the Holy Land.
