"50 faces" coming to Liverpool Our Lady of the Assumption in Liverpool will host “The 50 Faces of the Holy Land” exhibition from 30th October - 13th November in partnership with the Friends of the Holy Land. Please visit this exhibition which showcases the resilience and faith of those living in the Holy Land today as they continue to endure the current terrible conflict in Gaza, the West Bank, Israel and Jordan. There will also be an Ecumenical Service (Vespers for Peace) at 19:00 on the 6th of November at Our Lady of the Assumption, Liverpool. The service will be led by Archbishop Malcolm McMahon and the preacher for the service will be Canon Mark Madden. We invite all in the Community of Liverpool to join us to pray for a ceasefire, the return of the hostages, the repose of the souls of those killed and the relief of those devastated by the war. Following the service there will be a reception in which we will highlight the vital work of Friends of the Holy Land and answer any questions you may have. We are now a year into this war and the uncertainty, lack of security and economic pressures are straining families to their breaking point across the region. More parents may be forced to face impossible choices to survive without the help and hope that Friends of the Holy Land can bring with your help. Come and add your valuable prayers and learn how you can help directly in practical action in response. All are most welcome to join us. Manage Cookie Preferences
