For many years, Elias, an olive wood craftsman, has dedicated his life to preserving the traditional art of hand-carved olive wood from Bethlehem. Day after day, he works patiently with his hands, creating each piece with care, faith, and pride despite the hardships he faces. He is a father to four daughters and one son, working tirelessly to secure a better future for his family. At the same time, he carries the responsibility of caring for his sick mother, balancing family duties with the struggle to maintain his small workshop and livelihood. In times of economic uncertainty and declining tourism, continuing this craft is not easy. Yet through resilience and hope, he continues carving the olive wood of the Holy Land.
