Tenth anniversary Coventry

Friends of the Holy Land marked our 10th anniversary with a moving and inspirational service at Coventry Cathedral. Nearly 200 people gathered at the Cathedral to celebrate the FHL 10th Anniversary. The key purpose for the celebration was to pray together for our mission whilst also launching a major campaign to raise awareness in UK of the plight of fellow Christians in the Holy Land.

The service was celebrated by The Most Reverend Suheil Dawani, Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, and supported by our Patrons His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols and The Most Reverend Bernard Longley alongside The Rt Reverend John Stroyan, Bishop of Warwick.

The congregation were treated to music by the cathedral choir, who gave a wonderful performance. 

FHL were pleased to be able to hold our largest national event in Coventry in the heart of the West Midlands where FHL were founded 10 years ago.  It was also particularly poignant to hold our service in Coventry Cathedral the home of the International Centre for reconciliation in these times of division, particularly for our Brothers and Sisters living in the Holy Land.

The service was followed by FHL's largest ever National Conference at the nearby Welcome Centre, where lunch was provided before hearing from FHL patrons, supporters and beneficiaries about how they have stood firm for the last 10 years and for their plans to come.
