Friends of the Holy Land was formed in 2009 to offer direct help to Christians most in need in the Holy Land. 10 years later we now help hundreds of named Christians and their families but there are many more who need our help.
The overriding purpose of marking our anniversary was to pray together for our mission, while raising awareness amongst UK Christians of the plight of Christians in the Holy Land. Those who remain in the Holy Land face increasing difficulties in their daily lives and we wanted to highlight what small, simple steps you as UK Christians could take together to make a difference.
We were delighted to host Archbishop Suheil Dawani of the Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem. The Archbishop will led our ecumenical services in London, Coventry and Glasgow.
